property description: The interior is completely timbered giving a Scandinavian `feel' especially if the woodstove is used on chilly days. The barn is equipped to a high standard with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere! All rooms have electric heating, bed linen/towels, electricity and logs inclusive. Bathroom with a shower over bath, WC, wash handbasin. With apologies, no smoking and no pets. You may choose self-catering on a weekly basis or take a short break. Organic vegetables may be purchased and fresh eggs - if the hens oblige! surroundings: Excellent walking from the door close to Mortimer Forest and Trail, Brighthall and Hanway Commons. The Barn is ideal for exploring the Shropshire hills, Church Stretton or even over the Welsh Border to the Radnor hills, Offas Dyke and the Black Mountains. Cyclists can make use of an abundance of forestry tracks and quiet lanes. By prior arrangement we are happy to offer guided walks, transport to and from local trails or organise cycle hire. Historic Ludlow is 5 miles north famous for its Norman Castle, Georgian buildings and prestigious eating places. The refurbished Assembly Rooms provide live entertainment, films and exhibitions.
