property description: Pereiro, as locally known is an old farm, which has been revived by its present owners since 1990. The farm consists of the main house which has been built using the old foundation, the guest house is 100 metres from the main house and can accommodate five persons. From the house there are spectacular, breath taking views of the mountains and it has a very quiet and peaceful environment for those seeking relaxation. surroundings:
Quinta do Pereiro is situated not far from several well known
and most interested sights. To name a few: Serra da Estrela, the highest
mountain in Portugal. At the top there are numerous shops selling products
from the area and there is also an observation dome, although not used. location: Quinta do Pereiro is 2½ hours by car from Porto and about 3 hours from Lisbon airport and 60 km from Coimbra. There are trains to Coimbra and Santa Comba Dão. There are also busses from Coimbra that pass near the Quinta, which is only 700 m from the main road (EN17). Pickups can be arranged from Coimbra and Santa Comba Dão for a charge. contact
